BUYING A PUP
HERE ARE SOME QUESTIONS I NEED ANSWERS TO:
These questions are just so I can keep track of whom you are. And so I can offer some advice.
In no ways are they meant to discourage you.
We do care about our Scotties and do our best to ensure that both buyer and the pups are happy.
We also try to make the purchasing of a Scottie an easy experience and not to complicated.
1.How many people are living in your house and there ages?
2. Have you ever owned or do you currently own a Scottie?
3.Do you have any other breed of dog and if so how many ?
4. Are you wanting to breed or do you now breed dogs, if so what kind of dogs?
There is an extra charge for breeding rights
If so I need your Vets phone number? Also your permission for him to release information to me Bill W. Ivey
Have you bred dogs before ?
5.Do you live in a house or an apartment?
6. Do you have a fenced backyard? Have a swimming pool?
7.Do you work and will your Scottie be left alone for a long time? How many hours?
8. Where do you live? I need your address, name and phone number.
9. What are you interested in? Boy or girl, what color?
10. Is it a Scottie we have talked about or one from a litter soon to be born?
A $100 deposit will hold a pup for you. We do not refund a deposit after you have picked out a pup unless there is a very good reason. But I am reasonable and I am not hard headed. We will however refund a deposit before a pup is picked out if it is an advanced deposit.
We want only serious buyers to get a pup, that will love and give them a lot of attention
Many of our Scotties are sold through advanced deposits
Here is how advanced deposits work
Of course we just never know what they will have but if your deposit is sent as an advanced deposit there is no risk. For if any reason , say we do not get a pup for you or if you were to locate one somewhere else . Your deposit is returned promptly
I have two lists, and advanced deposit list and a list the is to be emailed when the pups are born. The advanced deposit list gets notified first as they have fist choice. For some reason you did not pick out a pup or if at any time you were to want your deposit returned before you have chosen a pup your deposit would be returned promptly. So your deposit is good for all upcoming litters or until you decide that you want it returned. A $100 deposit would hold a pup for you. Most of our pups are sold before their eyes are open. And sometimes before they are born through advanced deposits.
We haven't excepted advanced deposits in the past but have recently changed our policy. I do now accept them.
And they are in the order that we receive them. First deposit first choice. etc.
We will also refund the advanced deposits at anytime before the choice is made for a pup but do not refund a deposit after you have picked out a pup unless there is a very good reason.
We want our pups to go to serious buyers that will love them and give them a great home. And not someone that is not sure or cannot make up there mind.
Please do not put a deposit down on a pup unless you have time for it and are serious about taking on the demands of meeting the puppy’s needs and giving it the best of good care .
If you are wanting to breed I need to know before you send a deposit
I accept payments through PayPal just for deposits using this email address.
Or personal check. A $100 deposit will hold a pup.
A personal check is good for a deposit.

You must email me before sending money
There is an additional charge for breeding rights but you could have the pup upgraded at a later time it is a small fee with AKC and the full registering fee after the litter owner approves.
Most of our Scotties are sold as pets with AKC papers on a limited registering.
Which means that their pups would not be able to be registered with AKC.
For full registering like I said before could be changed at a later time when you decided that you were definitely wanting to breed , show or enter AKC events.
But only after approval will I give breeding rights.I do not give breeding rights to just anyone.
So please ask before you buy a pup.
